Kat to be wooed by Dostana four

Well after Priyanka Chopra glamourised Dostana, it’s the turn of leggy lass Katrina Kaif to do so, the only difference is Priyanka was wooed by two guys Abhishek and John and Katrina will be wooed by two more guys apart from Abhi and John – Arjun Rampal and Reitesh Deshmukh.

A source says, “Katrina was chosen to play the female lead after much deliberation. Dharma Productions has auditioned dozens of new girls. Actually, they wanted a fresh face for Dostana 2. But finally, after a tedious Google search, they felt that Katrina’s ‘most hit’ status on the Internet makes it apt for her to play the role of the ‘most hit’ girl by the boys in Dostana 2.”

“It speaks volumes for Katrina’s professionalism that she has agreed to co-star with Abhishek, regardless of the rumoured differences with Aishwarya Rai over the Barbie doll issue and even with John, whom boyfriend Salman Khan has apparently declared as a prohibited zone.”

Saif apologizes to Shahid

Saif Ali Khan in the past went about bragging that he was offered the lead role in Kaminey before Shahid Kapoor, however he has apologized for making that irresponsible comment.

Saif says, “My film(Love Aaj Kal) has already worked. I don’t want to sound false, but now I realise that in the past I might have made an irresponsible comment of having been offered a role in Kaminey. But the fact is, I was not. Vishal (Bhardwaj) had just mentioned the film to me. I don’t want it to be a personal battle any longer. We are all not friends (him, Vishal and Shahid Kapoor) for obvious reasons but I do think Vishal is a fantastic director. I have only heard good things about Shahid, from others and also from Kareena. He is a strong boy. I have learnt early in life that one cannot benefit from someone else’s failure.”

Saif apparently went through a stage of inferiority complex when Kunal Kapoor did not take him for any of his flicks after Tara Rum Pum.

Saif Ali Khan wants peace with Shahid Kapoor

Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor were never friends and after Kareena Kapoor broke up with Shahid and fell for Saif there was no question of friendship any more. But with his home production Love Aaj Kal having done well Saif wants to bury the hatchet with Shahid.

The actor turned producer said that Love Aaj Kal had already done well and he was not competing with Shahid’s Kaminey.The Chhote Nawab praised Shahid and said he had heard only good things about Shahid from ladylove Kareena and many others. Calling Shahid as an immensely talented actor Saif added that one cannot benefit from someone else’s failure.

It may be recalled that Saif had angered Vishal Bhardwaj when he had claimed that Kaminey was offered to him and he had turned it down.

The logo of the production house owned by the actor and fifty per cent partner Dinesh Vijan, is a lion’s head. It was suggested by Khan’s girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. When the Illuminati films got the office, on the second floor of Fortune Heights, Dinesh’s family had a small pooja. On that day, Kareena Kapoor came to the office and presented the duo with two silver lions. She told the two partners, Since you are both Leos, I think you should have the logo as a lion.The two silver lions presented by Bebo, occupy a place of honour in the office. Saif confirms, “Yes, it was Bebo’s idea.

The two lions was an incredibly thoughtful gesture on her part.” The partners also have a special handwritten note by Kareena given along with the lions but Saif says, “That’s too personal to talk about.” Does he think Bebo is lucky for him? “Yes, of course!” Saif is very happy that Love Aaj Kal has done excellent business. Mallika Sherawat will become an honorary citizen of LA

The Los Angeles City Council has decided to make Mallika Sherawat an honorary citizen. This will be the first time the city of Los Angeles will officially confer an honour on any B-Town celebrity. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other members of the LACity Council will do the needful on the eve of India’s Independence Day. On the occasion, the city will recognise Ms Sherawat as an honorary citizen and present a resolution for her extraordinary career and charitable efforts. Says a source close to Mallika, “It will be a celebrity -studded event where many special guests are expected to attend.

Some of these will include her Hollywood friends like world-famous composer Yanni, film director Jay Chandrashekar, CAA super agent Emanuel Nunez, film director Jesse Dylan (son of musician Bob Dylan), Hisss director Jennifer Lynch and producer Govind Menon among others. Mallika has personally invited all of them to the event.The event will be open to the public and Mallika will also sign autographs for fans before and after the event. Katrina to work opposite Shahrukh, shocked Salman

The Bollywood actress Katrina has reportedly gone ahead to the extent of signing a film by Yash Raj banner with Shah Rukh Khan. It seems that Katrina could have done to annoy Salman more.
