Saif Ali Khan looking for his childhood love

All knows that Saif Ali Khan’s is not a one woman’s man. In his life, he has been entangled with many girls. Though presently he is seeing Kareena Kapoor, his heart still hunts for his childhood girlfriend with whom he had spent his early days. Saif had lost touch with his childhood friend for more than three decades but still his heart craves for her and desired to meet her.

The Chotte Nawab still cherish the dream of his ex-girlfriend and used his blog to hunt the girl that he had lost connection. In his latest blog, Saif mentions that he is searching for “the girl I grew up with.” He bade her goodbye when he was only seven. It has been a long time that Saif and his childhood ex departed but the actor claimed not to stop his search until he gets her.

He refused to reveal the name of the girl but posted a picture of the girl with a butterfly stuck on her hair which he had gifted her.

Bipasha skips Salman’s show for John

The latest buzz doing the round is that Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu skips Salman Khan’s reality show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ due to Sallu’s on-going rivalry with beau John Abraham. John and Salman were not on talking terms for a long period and on looking at their differences, Bipasha Basu decided not to appear on Salman’s show as she does not want to get into any controversy.Her co-stars Ajay Devgan and Fardeen Khan are likely to appear but the sexy lady turned down.

A source says, “Bipasha has no problems whatsoever with Salman; however because of his issues with her boyfriend John, she has been avoiding any direct contact with the actor. The untitled film will have Mughda Godse and Sanjay Dutt along with Ajay, Fardeen and Bipasha Basu. The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty and will be produced by Ajay Devgan.

Shahid Kapoor’s big Risk

With movie theatres in Mumbai remaining shut on Sunday, Shahid Kapoor’s plan to mingle with his fans had gone for a toss. However, the actor has made it up as he has hit the ticket counters when they reopened post the swine flu panic in the city. Speaking about the rave reviews of the film, he says, “The reaction from the audience has been amazing and I want to interact with them. People have given me great reviews and I feel very lucky and happy that my hard work has been noticed,” he says. But wasn’t he apprehensive to sign this pulp genre film which has a very quirky plot? Such films either dazzle audiences or get completely rejected.

It was a gamble definitely as such films either shock people or they reject it but I’m happy that the risk has paid off well. I really had to get out of my comfort zone and break my boy-next-door image. The difference in my look is also great. I’m really happy that Vishal trusted me with the film,” he says. On the industry front, Saif Ali Khan in an interview had said he wants to patch up with Shahid. He also went back on his comment that he was offered Kaminey before Shahid. Is Shahid looking to bury the hatchet too? I never started anything with him. I learnt that he had commented to a paper that he was offered the film first and now he has clarified that he wasn’t. I really appreciate that he clarified. It really takes a lot to clarify oneself after saying something different,” he ends.

Saif’s comment on Kaminey ‘I don’t want to sound false, but now I realise that in the past I might have made an irresponsible comment of having been offered a role in Kaminey. But the fact is that I was not. Vishal (Bhardwaj) had just mentioned the film to me.’

Shahrukh Khan’s tribute to Michael Jackson

For his birthday on August 29, they have put together a tribute song. Shahrukh Khan is a huge MJ fan. He cried when he heard about his shocking death. So when the creative heads at Red Chillies pitched the idea, he was all for it and put together an impressive team for the song. Musical duo Vishal-Shekhar has composed the song which has been sung and written by Vishal Dadlani.

Other singers like KK, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal also feature on the song. Trust SRK to put together a star-studded video that will feature Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapur, Hrithik Roshan, Kangna Ranaut, Harman Baweja, Yuvraj Singh, Prabhu Deva aong with himself. Samar Khan, the director of Shaurya is directing the video which is being shot in low light and has a unique mood.

The song called ‘We lived in his world’ will air across channels on August 29.

Akshay Kumar gets Deepika some rest!

After the attack of malaria in London Deepika Padukone has had no time to slow down let alone take a break. In fact she was determined to continue working through her delicate post-illness phase specially since she flew down to Delhi for the release of Love Aaj Kal and therefore lost more precious shooting days. But then Deepika hadn’t really bargained for a unit as large-hearted as Sajid Nadiadwala’s. In spite of the lost dates the producer, director and the leading man Akshay Kumar got together to give Deepika some time off this week.

Says a source, “Since the cast involves many other permutations and combinations between Akshay and the rest of the cast they decided to let Deepika rest it out for a week and do scenes with the rest of the cast.” Deepika promptly called her family over to relax and feel at home in the city where she’s constantly shooting. First Love Aaj Kal now Housefull “My Dad, Mum and sister were here for a few days. I got to spend some much-needed time with them.I hardly get to visit them in India. They visit me in Mumbai more than I visit them in Bangalore. And they visit me when I’m abroad. They came to Bangkok during Chandni Chowk To China.

Now they were here in London.I don’t want them to come to boring places. They should’ve fun when they visit me.”

SRK US detention shows cold war with Big B continues

Shah Rukh Khan, who returned to India after being detained by the US officials at the Newark airport for over two hours for security check- up, has slammed Amar Singh (read Bachchan camp, Singh is a close family friend of Bachchans) for saying that it was all meant to promote his upcoming flick ‘My Name Is Khan’. King Khan went on to thrash Amar Singh, the politically powerful friend of Amitabh Bachchan, by saying that such mean things could have come only from a mean mind, and he(SRK) was certainly above all such petty things. Shah Rukh Khan’s reasoning was simple that he was too big a bollywood icon to need such cheap publicity, and in any case being held at any airport was never a matter of pride for any individual.

Earlier, Amar Singh, who is being taken care of by Amitabh Bachchan in Singapore after his kidney transplantation, had said that Shah Rukh was making detention an issue to promote his latest flick ‘My Name Is Khan’.The industry observers see the whole development of Shah Rukh Khan slamming Amar Singh as a clear proof of ongoing cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and King Khan. The industry insiders feel that Amar Singh could not have made such a statement without the consent and knowledge of Amitabh Bachchan, who is staying with him in Singapore. In fact, while slamming Shah Rukh Khan for making the whole thing miserable, Amar Singh had even quoted the instance of Amitabh Bachchan that how he submitted to the scrutiny of US officials without any complaints or grouse.

Amar Singh had also thrashed Shah Rukh Khan for considering himself above the law of a country.Shah Rukh Khan’s retaliation to Amar Singh’s comments is likely to create further tension between Bachchans and King Khan camp, and all the efforts of reconciliation being made by the likes of Karan Johar would come to naught.Earlier, at Karan Johar’s birthday bash, Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri and Abhishek-Aishwarya were seen conversing animatedly, and it was conjectured that there had been a visible thaw in the cold war between Bachchans and Shah Rukh Khan. But after the latest incident, the cold war seems to be very much on and getting hot under the collar too.In the mean time, Shah Rukh Khan has been invited by Hollywood star and current Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to have dinner with him at his residence.

This invitation came to Shah Rukh Khan after the incident made headlines in the world media, but he chose to return to India. It is not clear if Shah Rukh Khan is willing to travel back to the US so soon to attend the dinner after being humiliated in such a manner. However, the date of dinner has been extended now to September 20, so that Shah Rukh Khan can make up his mind in this regard. It may be recalled that after the humiliating US detention, Shah Rukh Khan had said that he would like to limit his travel to the US, and would prefer going to other countries for shooting of his films etc.

Hrithik Roshan offers help to paraplegics

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was so moved after meeting people affected with paraplegia while researching for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Guzaarish” that he has decided to help them in whatever way he can. Hrithik is playing a paraplegic in “Guzaarish” and met patients to be able to get under the skin of his character. While meetings the patients helped him understand his character better, it also left a deep impact on his mind.

Hrithik is taking his role very seriously and has been reading a lot on paraplegia and watching videos to understand and study their mannerisms and behaviour. In fact, he even visited several people affected by the disease to get a first hand account of their experiences,” said a source close to the actor.The intensive study and frequent interactions with people suffering from the disorder have moved Hrithik to a great extent.

He came across some young, talented people who were left incapacitated due to paraplegia and he immediately decided to do his bit to help them,” added the source. Aishwarya Rai is playing female lead in the film.

No more USA for Shahrukh Khan?

Shah Rukh Khan was frisked at the Newark airport and we have been hearing about it ever since. The media has spoken about it. SRK’s friends and ex-friends have spoken about it. Cricketers have given their opinion. And even the Governor of California, Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger has invited Khan for dinner at Washington DC. So I was really not surprised when I heard this one.

Apparently, producer Viveck Vaswani has taken the entire episode to heart and cancelled the premiere of his SRK starrer film Dulha Mil Gaya in the US.What however shocked me was when I heard about the new destination chosen by Vaswani for the King Khan. A little birdie tells me, the producer has now decided to hold the premiere of his film in Trinidad. The film is set for a November 13 release.But then there’s a reason behind choosing that particular destination.

In the film, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a businessman based out of… TRINIDAD!He has been paired with his Main Hoon Na co-star Sushmita Sen in the film.The film is about the SRK-Sush and another couple played by Fardeen Khan and Tara Sharma. It has been directed by Mudassar Aziz.

Deepika Padukone witnessed a shootout in London

Deepika Padukone was in the middle of a shootout in London recently. The actress is presently shooting for Sajid Khan’s Housefull there. During a shopping spree with a friend on the New Bond Street, the OSO girl was witness to chaos in a cops and murder drama.A source reveals, “Deepika was walking with her friend and they entered a store. All they heard the sounds of ambulances and police cars zipping past the store.

The actress and her companion were wondering whether to stay put, or step out of the store when the owner of the shop alerted them about the shootout in the parallel lane. “The store owner advised the girls to sneak out the back exit, as it would be safer. There was too much commotion in the area but they managed to jump into a cab and reach the hotel.

On her way back, she saw the area where the shootout took place and realised how close she was to the scene of crime. The London police had sealed off the narrow alley where the shoot out took place and there was some blood on the streets.

Katrina Kaif is a liar!

Read it to believe it. Bollywood present sensational Katrina Kaif is actually Katrina Turquotte. This astounding revelation has been made by actor Jackie Shroff’s wife Ayesha Shroff who claimed to have introduced Katrina Kaif to Bollywood. Revealing the sensational news, Ayesha said, “Katrina had an English surname, which was not easy to pronounce. She is not Katrina Kaif originally. She is Katrina Turquotte. We wanted to give her a surname which would be accepted by the Indian audience.

First we thought of naming her Katrina Kazi, but then we thought Kazi would have a religious overtone. So we thought of Kaif . Ayesha claimed that Kat’s passport at that time named Katrina Turquotte. What made Katrina to keep her title hidden is not yet known but when Ayesha was asked whether Katrina and she are still in touch, Ayesha replied, “Not really. We met at a party once and just greeted each other.

Now, from Ayesha’s statement two conclusions can be drawn, first she is the actually Katrina’s real mentor and not Salman Khan and secondly, Katrina is not Kaif but Turquotte.
